Abstract :
This paper presents three implementation algorithms based on different scheduling algorithms to support differentiated services in multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) based ATM switches. Through performance analysis and comparison, it is shown that the performance of differentiated services can be improved by a set of priority scheduling schemes. Then an efficient framework is proposed to support differentiated service in MPLS-based ATM networks
