Abstract :
In this paper, we described a CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture) based network management prototype system that is being developed by Lucent Technologies to evaluate the feasibility of the CORBA IDL information model and CORBA network management framework that are being specified by the North American T1M1 organization. In addition, several performance issues are going to be addressed in this project with respect to the performance management scenarios defined for the prototype system
