Abstract :
Quality of service (QoS) is one of the most important things that the Internet should provide. But in today´s Internet, there is no service discrimination to provide different QoS. We introduce economic models to allocate resources and use them in differentiated services to provide QoS to users. Policy is also addressed to define the rules and provide QoS. When economic competing mechanisms are used to define policy rules, the architecture for providing QoS in differentiated services can be obtained. At the same time, the prices of the resources can also be obtained
