Abstract :
Graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) are considered as a promising candidate for the upcoming nanotechnology based research work. One of the prototypical shape is Zigzag based GNR has remarkable transport properties from which device conductance can be measured. This work based on realistic model by considering the charge impurity into the device which is produced during the fabrication or from surrounding environment. At first we have calculated an influencing factor in random phase approximation (RPA) by varying the dielectric substrate. Then we will calculate the conductivity in two ways like by changing the charge impurity where (i) one substrate and (ii) when substrate changes. We will calculate the conductivity using the idea of coulomb scattering in correlation with the self-consistent theory and RPA method. Then we will calculate a transport property which is here mean free path (MFP) from our calculated conductivity by varying two different substrates. Later we will calculate device conductance from our calculated MFP again by varying two different substrates. For measuring the device conductance we will consider width of Zigzag GNR (Z-GNR) and MFP.
