Abstract :
We presented a new structure for a man-machine natural interaction (MMNI) system, also called human-machine natural interaction. The main features of this kind of system are multimodal human-computer interaction and distributed information processing. A distributed object network environment (DONE) is the information infrastructure of the MMNI system. Audio-visual bimodal recognition (AVBR) is the base set of multimodal information processing in the MMNI system. Typical methods used in AVBR are representative of all the other multimodal system. The design principles for DONE and AVBR are presented
