Abstract :
This paper represents a mistracking detection method with wavelet transformation in marine radar processing. The data of the crossing targets are separated by means of the Lipschitz exponent when the tracking gates are aliasing. The real-time wavelet decomposition is derived and employed in the extraction of the local Lipschitz exponent to get a better property of real-time processing. It is demonstrated that the mistracking detection algorithm with the spline wavelet is accurate for the step edge of a time series and is unbiased under the situation of both additive and multiplicative noise
