  • Abstract
Adaptive chirplet decomposition is an efficient approach in the time frequency structure analysis of chirp signals. Its key problem lies on the chirplet estimation, which will greatly affect the decomposition results and hence is a major difficulty at present. A simple numerical algorithm for estimating the chirplet with high accuracy is proposed, with which the signal structure can be represented more clearly. Simulation results confirm the algorithm
