Abstract :
Design, fabrication and characterization of a novel ultra-wideband, 22.5° and 11.25° monolithic phase shifter with a sharing Lange coupler is described. The topology was specifically selected to minimize process variations on performance. Low peak phase error (⩽2°) low VSWR (⩽1.5)and low insertion loss variations (⩽2.6±0.4 dB) are exhibited over 5 to 20 GHz frequency range. The chip size is 4.2 mm×0.46 mm×0.1 mm
