Abstract :
The advantages of power consumption accounting automation for the purposes of power consumption management are well known. Such systems have long been applied as abroad, and in Russia at small-scale and large industrial firms. The author describes how the main economic effect for a customer from the application of these systems is a reduction of payments for used energy, and for power enterprises is in a decrease of consumption peak and reduction of investments for escalating of peak generating powers
