Experience using Web-based media in distance learning

Distance learning is experiencing tremendous growth. The demand for continuing education among employed software engineers is increasing. Universities need to improve the environment and delivery of the course material for distance learning. The Computing and Information Science department at Kansas State University has experimented with the use of Web based media to replace video tapes for distance learning courses in its Masters of Software Engineering program.
