Abstract
The motivation of this paper is to propose a new approach to Conformal RTP using a combination of two techniques of different nature-analytic and stochastic. The authors apply the Least Squares Method together with the new Structured Genetic Algorithm to obtain the optimum beam parameters that will produce the desired dose distribution. While each technique has its inherent advantages and disadvantages, the authors hope to harness the advantages of both techniques through such a multi-modal approach
