Abstract :
Summary form only given. Recently, various spectral interferometries have been developed to measure separately ultrafast phase and transmission change induced by short pulses. Our group developed a femtosecond Sagnac interferometer in order to obtain time-resolved difference phase and transmission spectra, which are hereafter abbreviated to TRDPS and TRDTS, respectively. In the present study, we obtained both of the TRDPS and TRDTS of a molecular liquid, CS/sub 2/, as continuous spectra. In both TRDPS and TRDTS, spectral fringes were clearly observed especially at negative delay times, and the fringe periods corresponded to the delay time.
