Abstract :
Summary form only given. We report the first observation of strongly enhanced surface SHG and surface adsorbed molecular two-photon luminescence due to the photorefractive SEW excitation in BaTiO/sub 3/. Surface SHG in BaTiO/sub 3/ is a very suitable phenomenon for demonstrating the potential of photorefractive SEWs in nonlinear surface optics.
