Abstract
The authors propose an evolutionary algorithm (EA) approach to hardware-software partitioning and performance estimation of dynamically reconfigurable embedded systems. A demonstrative application is used to show the effectiveness of the use of GAs to achieve hardware-software partitions with maximum speedup
