Abstract :
A new algorithm for designing wideband band stop filters is presented. The filters under consideration are composed of noncommensurate transmission line sections whose characteristic impedances are limited by given permissible values. Due to that the filters designed in the proposed manner may be easily realizable, and the electrical strength of them may be taken into account during the design process
