Abstract :
The first telecottage "born" in 1985, was established in Vemdalen, Sweden. The movement arrived in 1994 to Hungary. The telecottage is a rural institution using the modern IT tools (computers, Internet, office automation etc) solving the problems of the local community. The Hungarian telecottage association supports the neighbour countries transporting their experiences founding their first telecottages and their association.
