Abstract :
The installation of the PV system for lighting the road sign D6 “Warning! Pedestrian crossing” on a road near Warsaw has been documented in this paper. The PV lighting system, lessons learned and maintenance problems have been documented over nine months. The performance data have shown that with careful hardware selection, installation, and maintenance intervals the PV lighting system will operate reliably
