Abstract
The introduction of the dispersed generators (DGs) in power distribution systems increases the complexity of system planning and operation. The authors propose online information exchange between DGs in attempt to develop an autonomous operation scheme of distribution system dominated by DGs. This paper evaluates the improvement of reliability of distribution system isolated from the upper system by the online information. The simulation is performed in terms of instantaneous values using PSCAD/EMTDC. The simulation revealed that the transient stability is improved when DGs with fast response and with slow response are coupled and exchange the information on inverse power flow from the DGs to the network
