Abstract
After experiencing the vast impact of the invention of internal combustion engine and electricity on human civilization, we are now entering a third revolution that will create genetics, nano/micro-electronics, and robotics (GNR) technologies in the new millennium. GNR technologies can now produce matter that is self-replicating and may change the way we reproduce even life. These developments pose several ethical, moral, spiritual, and behavioral issues for strategic leaders-those who are deeply immersed in technology development and innovation. Critical success factors and related issues in strategic development are discussed
