            Abstract :
This paper presents a feedback fuzzy leaky bucket algorithm for Usage Parameter Control (UPC) in Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) networks. By comparison with the conventional methods, leaky bucket (LB) and fuzzy window, the proposed policer has better responsiveness behavior, and selectivity performance approaches closer to the ideal violation curve than the other two methods. Therefore, the bandwidth can be used more efficiently, and more precise traffic control can be achieved
