            Abstract : 
The paper describes a synthesis procedure to yield a network which has a step response corresponding to a sinusoid with a given envelope. The envelope is approximated in a piecewise step manner. The real and imaginary parts of the Laplace transform of the step response with an approximated envelope are expanded in infinite products. Then, using a finite number of terms in these products one can obtain a realizable transfer function
