Abstract :
We describe a new Analog to Digital converter (ADC) concept wherein the analog signal is slowed down prior to conversion. By reducing the signal bandwidth (the carrier and its modulation), the new concept offers revolutionary enhancements in the performance of the ADC. We also describe time-compression and its application high-speed Digital-to-Analog converters (DAC)
