Abstract :
In a reduced branch-line coupler with two-step stubs, there exists a capability for a spurious notch to arise in the frequency responses over the centre frequency. In this paper, a branch-line coupler that suppresses the notch will be newly presented, and its frequency characteristics will be compared with those of a coupler having a notch in theory and experiment
