Abstract :
Capacity increase is a constant request from long-haul submarine cable operators. This paper reports transmission capacity of 3 Tbit/s over 7380 km using 300 NRZ channels with 25 GHz channel spacing over the C+L band. The line used is composed of 10 fiber sections and 11 C+L EDFAs and operates in a recirculating loop configuration.
