Abstract :
The asymptotic solution of the problem of plane electromagnetic wave propagation through a dielectric layer of finite thickness with an arbitrary relatively small variation of the complex permittivity along the direction of electromagnetic wave propagation is presented. The results obtained allow solution to not only the problems of analyzing radomes with arbitrary small variations of their electrical characteristics but also the problems of synthesis of the certain law of distribution permittivity of the radome within its thickness depending on typical requirements to the following antenna parameters: coefficients of reflection and transmission, an angle of ray refraction, a distortion degree of directivity pattern etc
