  • Abstract
Deals with a global approach for a disassembly and assembly sequencing using an adapted feature-based life-cycle model. The method presented can generate a good assembly or disassembly sequence of a product from geometric, physical and technological points of view. The integration of assembly and disassembly is advantageous for the activation of higher value as per assembly, repair, maintenance and reuse of parts, components and products. The components of the assembly are modelled with accurate B-Rep models. In order to reduce the algorithm complexity inherited from geometric models, this approach is based on technological and physical data associated to the geometric description of components
