Using of Macromedia FLASH for development of Internet based lectures at the Department of Electrotechnology of the CTU Prague

Contemporary trends in education in such a traditional field as technology need the use of modern learning tools, e.g. the Internet, e-mail, multimedia, remote access, animation and interactive work. One of the important goals in teaching of electro-technology is an understanding of technological processes. However, it is not possible to demonstrate all technological processes under laboratory conditions. Computer simulation can obtain primary knowledge of technological processes of this type. We use Macromedia FLASH for this purpose. This software tool has been developed for creation of Web based animations on Internet or intranet networks. Professional animations, which show the principles of the technological processes, can be created this way, too. The power and flexibility of Flash is ideal for our own creativity
