Categorization of railroad-related terms toward building thesaurus

Korean railroad terms presently in use are based on those of Japanese techniques, while Korea´s adopted TGV system is based on European and French technical terms. Should this reasoning be taken for granted, the authors´ research may have to be directed to cover some area in the way of structuring the thesaurus of TGV terms and those existing. It is impossible to collect and rearrange all existing and TGV terms. Its difficulty should be doubled to handle those terms relating to TGV projects currently progressing. It is purposed in this paper to attempt to categorize the existing and TGV terms in the light of “search and retrieve” that are cardinal in the way of thesaurus
