Abstract :
A method for fuzzy controller design based on information fusion is proposed, which uses multistage control strategy and merging function to fuse system information. This method can make use of current control experience and simplify the design process of fuzzy controller in cases of multiple inputs. The practical control of a two stage inverted pendulum proves the feasibility and robustness of this method
