Abstract :
A novel current harmonic suppression based on a hybrid active filter consisting of a series active filter and a shunt passive filter is presented. The current harmonics generated by the nonlinear load are blocked by the equivalent resistance of the active filter and flow into the shunt passive filter. The output voltage command tracking and DC bus voltage regulation is presented to obtain the equivalent voltage of the series active filter. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is verified by computer simulation and experimental results
