Abstract :
A novel temporal error concealment technique based on two-step block-matching principle is proposed for reducing the degradation of video quality caused by errors. The recovery problem considered in the method is to search a best replacement for the damaged image from a reference frame. An improved performance using the proposed algorithm is achieved
