Abstract :
We present the traffic signal control method for avoiding the traffic jam by applying the simulator for the interpersonal relation using Egograms. Egograms consist of 5 categories: critical parents, nurturing parents, adult, free child and adapted child. In this simulator, we prepare the computer agent which has Egograms obtained by a human subject. We provide food acquisition environment which is an instinct for survival, and then we arrange 11 actions for the agent that might be occurred around the feeding stations. By analyzing the actions selected by plural agents in simulation, we can diagnose the interpersonal relations. For the traffic signal control, we consider the traffic signal to be an agent and instead of acquiring food, it tries to get cars as much as possible by changing the traffic signal through the interaction between other traffic signals. By comparing the result obtained by the standard traffic signal control which changes the signal regularly, we confirm the efficiency of our method
