Abstract
Many definitions are not yet decided upon, although a few car manufacturers are working with 42 V applications. There should be no doubt that the 42 V electrical system will be introduced. In this paper, the author examines how the introduction of the automotive 42 V powernet will effect the use of small PM DC motors
