Evaluation of power quality in regional distribution networks

The Czech Republic constantly pays considerable attention to the problems of supplied electrical energy quality. It is being increased with the forthcoming term of the beginning of the liberalization of electrical energy market in the Czech Republic (term-the year 2002). A number of institutions in the Czech Republic deal with the problems (universities, research institutes, consultancies, and also regional power engineering companies). In this paper we present a summary of results of the work of significant workplaces in the Czech Republic. The results of long-term measurement are presented, their generalization, and some interesting knowledge and problems are described
