Abstract :
The systems discussed, including bay computers, have been used for 20 years in distribution networks, with the equipment life time expectancy being 30 to 40 years. The aim of the maintenance in operational conditions is to ensure the everlastingness of a system working for a long period, with a satisfactory availability for the exploitation and a minimal maintenance cost. It must allow the evolution of the system, such as size and functionality, the evolution of the equipment which should have an effect on the interfaces and the exploitation conditions, and to define the obsolescence management of the different material components and software. The signature of this project between both the client and the manufacturer is a commitment on the duration, the services provided, the means and the responsibility specified in this project
