Abstract :
A wide variety of mobile computing devices have emerged, including portables, palmtops and personal digital assistants. Providing adequate network connectivity for these devices will require a new generation wireless technology. This paper describes medium access protocols and proposes a CDMA-based CSMA protocol to solve the collision problems well with the help of multi-channel scheme. New methods of code synchronization and assignment are presented. Our analysis results show that the proposed protocol offers high throughput
