Abstract
Multistage successive interference cancellation (SIC) and multistage parallel interference cancellation (PIC) are compared under two different realistic dual rate asynchronous DS-CDMA schemes. The effect of power control and imperfect channel side information are also considered. Multistage SIC outperforms single- or multi-stage PIC for any conditions considered
