Abstract :
Due to the asymmetric allocation of uplink and downlink time slots in Universal Mobile Telecommunications System Terrestrial Radio Access Time Division Duplex (UTRA-TDD), the performance of mobile stations can be degraded seriously by inter-cell interference. We propose the group-blind hybrid multiuser detector for UTRA-TDD, which can reduce intra-cell and inter-cell interference efficiently. The detector has better performance compared to conventional multiuser detectors in the case of presence of unknown inter-cell interference. The group-blind hybrid multiuser detector can mitigate the problem of UTRA-TDD efficiently
