Abstract :
We consider a class of uncertain transfer functions and present a characterization of robustly positive-real transfer functions in a restricted frequency range. In particular, a sufficient condition for robust finite-frequency positive-realness is developed in the spirit of parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions, and is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Our result plays a crucial role in the structure/control design integration
