Abstract :
A review of recent activities undertaken at the Institute of Radio Astronomy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the development of cloud radars is presented. Design approaches to the development of coherent radar systems operating at the frequencies of 36 GHz and 95 GHz are discussed. Examples of cloud radars developed at the Institute are presented
