  • Abstract
Spatial and temporal fluctuations of atmospheric emission at the millimeter wavelengths are caused by pulsations of the meteorological parameters such as thermodynamic temperature, liquid water content in clouds, humidity, phase structure and wind speed etc. These pulsations result from the turbulence in the troposphere. For a description of the fluctuating fields of temperature, density, humidity and, depending on them, the brightness temperature of the atmosphere, the authors use the so-called structural function
