Abstract
This paper presents a theoretical study of the interaction of a straight-forward quasineutral electron beam with surface electrostatic oscillations in a cylindrical semiconductor layer. The dispersion equation for such a plasma-beam structure can be obtained from the system of equations which consists of boundary conditions, Maxwell´s equations, equations of motion and continuity equations in each region of this structure
