Abstract
This work is a result of studying the spectral and energy characteristics of sapphire quasi-optical dielectric resonator (QDR) with conducting endplates for purposes of small surface resistance Rs values measurement of high-Tc superconducting (HTS) film in the mm waveband. Basic theoretical relations for spectral and energetic characteristics of QDR, which made from sapphire single crystal with uniaxial anisotropy are given, experimental technique is briefly described and the first results of HTS film Rs measurement are given
