Abstract
Summary form only given. The shape of alkali halides TL glow curves can be used to calculate traps parameters from different models. Different crystals have been studied using different beta calibrated doses. All the crystals measured showed intense TL emissions hut with different behaviour and efficiency from crystal to crystal, and also of the same crystal, according to the stimulation wavelength. The peaks present in the glow-curves were analysed for a rough characterization of the crystals themselves using deconvolution of the experimental curve through a theoretical model. From the curves deconvolution we obtain, as fit parameters, information on energy trap levels and kinetic order of process. Then it is possible to compare different values calculated to the different beta doses, to evaluate the existence of an accord of the parameters value obtained on the same crystal, the eventual effect of deformations due to irradiation and the dosimetric efficiency of different alkali halides crystals
