Abstract :
Responses of liquid xenon scintillator for γ rays whose energy range was from 59.5 keV to 4.43 MeV were measured. The experiment was made by a position-independent detector with 300 cc fiducial volume with PTFE Teflon reflector. The light collection efficiency for the detector was calculated by Monte Carlo simulation. The energy resolution and scintillation efficiency for several γ ray-sources are presented, compared with another results. We also mention about the application of liquid xenon scintillator detector to physics experiment which is under preparation
