Abstract :
The results of measurements of optical transmittance, thermostimulated luminescence and radiation hardness of CWO and PWO doped crystals are reported in this work. It was found out that 3-valent impurities increase optical transmittance of PWO crystals but decrease the transparency of CWO crystals. The radiation hardness for the both type of crystals sufficiently increases after doping. Different kinds of defects which provide the observed effects have been discussed
