  • Abstract
    The Camera of the Fluorescence Detector of the Auger Observatory is described. The design of the camera body, which allows packing hexagonal pixels on a spherical focal surface is presented. Characteristics of the hexagonal photomultipliers are reported. The performance of light collectors, placed in front of the photomultipliers, in terms of the camera uniformity is given
