Abstract :
The IEEE P1505 Receiver Fixture Interface (RFI) Standard provides a common mechanical quick disconnect for connecting large numbers of electrical signals (digital, analog, RF, power, etc.). Test Interfaces are used primarily in automatic test systems to support a wide variety Unit-Under-Test (UUT) requirements with a common set test assets. This, paper describes the IEEE P1505 RFI Standard Specifications, the related Working Group, and background for its development. Currently, the RFI Standard is receiving wide acceptance and commercial/aerospace use
