Abstract :
The cost of test is an important issue and one which continues to attract a lot of attention even though it is often not fully understood. Most industry designers do not have enough time to devote to an economic analysis of testing options, but it is quite clear that the benefits of doing so are enormous-ultimately very large sums of money can be saved through the use of ´appropriate´ test. This paper will explore the issues of testing costs and touch on all aspects of design through to field service
