Abstract
Following the theory of kinetic energy in physics, the concept of development kinetic energy of regional economy and the concept of per-employed development kinetic energy were put forward, and it provided a useful tool for study regional economy. On the base of it, this paper develops and extends the kinetic energy of regional economy to industry, and put forward development kinetic energy and per-employed development kinetic energy of industry, and the corresponding measure models are established. They create a new method for analysis theory of development kinetic energy of industry. Furthermore, making use of this method, we analyze and study the second-order kinetic energy and the second-order per-employed kinetic energy of each industry of China in the paper. And the conclusions are accordant to the reality well and could explain and predict industry development well
